"Create Real Impact Contest" Submission

This is my submission for the 2011 Create Real Impact Contest sponsored by Impact Teen Drivers.
My goal was to identify with something that teens love (spending time with friends) connect it with an issue relevant to teen drivers (texting) and relate it to ITD's "What Do You Consider Lethal" campaign.

My concept was to emphasize the frivolity of risking your life and lives of others just to send a text. I chose pink, grey and white to contrast the the things teens enjoy doing regularly while driving with the urgency of the effects of reckless driving. Overall I think this speaks well for the message I'm trying to convey, the layout also adds a little creativity separating this from standard written submissions which will ultimately be displayed in an ad format anyway.

People say it'll never happen to them but traffic accidents are just that...accidents, meaning that they're all
unexpected.

Don't forget to vote for my submission!

Castle Ink Green Campaign

Castle Ink, printer and cartridges retailer offering "the largest selection of high quality ink cartridges and laser toner" has established a partnership with Recycle For Life to launch "a recycling program for empty ink cartridges and laser toner".

You can now exchange your empty cartridges to Recycle For Life for cash or a donation to any charity of your choice! Not only is this program resourceful but it's also eco friendly.

This is perfect for both students and businesses. Get great prices on those expensive printer supplies at Castle Ink and earn some extra green (we all need it right now) by recycling cartridges instead of throwing them away! I love these simple ways to give, save and make money.

Check out my ad for Castle Ink below and learn about the program here.
